Grief Altar Prints — A Complete Set for the Long Walk

Five abstract focal points for grief altar work. Each image holds space for a different landscape of loss. Rotate them as your grief shifts — because grief changes shape, even when it doesn't end.

The collection:

Flow — For the grief that moves through you like water. Relentless, reshaping, never the same river twice.

Roots — For the grief that has spread into everything. Threaded through your body and your days until there is no part of you it hasn't touched.

Shatter — For the moment of impact. The before and after. The world that broke and the pieces you're still standing in.

Speak — For the conversation that continues. The gold thread of connection that death transformed but did not sever.

Tide — For the overwhelm. The waves that swallow you whole. The grief that feels like drowning before it feels like anything else.

How to use them:

These prints are focal points — visual anchors for your grief practice. Place one on your altar, your nightstand, your windowsill, wherever your sacred space lives. Let your eyes land on it during candle work, stillness, or the moments when you just need to sit with what you're carrying.

As your grief changes, rotate the prints. Some weeks are Tide weeks. Some are Roots weeks. Some mornings you wake up and it's a Shatter day and you didn't see it coming. Having all five means your altar can meet you where you are instead of asking you to meet it.

What you receive: Fifteen high-resolution PNG files (300 DPI) — three sizes for each of the five prints (4×6, 5×7, and 8×10), plus a companion PDF guide with printing recommendations, suggested ritual use, and a description of each print.

Printing note: Matte cardstock or matte photo paper recommended. Matte finish reads better by candlelight and won't catch glare on your altar. Print all five and keep them accessible so you can swap as needed.

Part of the Wrought & Woven grief collection by Rooted Chaos. These prints pair with the Karluma grief charm (a lavender-charged, Brauche-blessed grief anchor) and The Carrying Deck grief oracle. Together, they form a complete grief support practice — something to look at, something to hold, something to speak through.

Grief is not a problem to solve. Magic can't erase your pain. But it can hold you while you carry what you carry.
